Molly Landreth
Molly Landreth (b. 1978) is an artist, a mother and currently an Executive Director at Home Together, an organization she founded in 2021.
As an artist she explores concepts of gender, sexuality and community through intimate large-format photography and is most well known for her series, Embodiment: A Portrait of Queer Life in America (2003-2010). She loves the slow process of film photography and the stories that emerge during the process. She has co-authored one book, It’s Raining…I Love You, which is a collection of love letters and black & white self-portraits created between 1998-1999 with her then girlfriend and forever bff, photographer Jenny Riffle. It was published by Minor Matters with a forward by the very talented Genevieve Hudson. Landreth’s work has been featured in Le Monde, The Guardian, The New York Times, Time Magazine, and on NPR. Editorial clients include Newsweek, The New Yorker, OUT Magazine and Marie Claire. She is based in Seattle, Washington. Get in touch! mollylandreth@gmail.com IG @mollylandreth
